This Privacy Policy explains how D&J Contractor Marketing, LLC (“D&J,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit djcontractormarketing.com (the “Site”), use our free tools, contact us, or sign up to receive messages from us, including text messages (SMS).
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on the Site, request an audit or consultation, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us, we collect what you enter, which may include:
- Your name and business name
- Email address and mobile or business phone number
- Business website, city and service area, and trade
- Any details you include in a message to us
- Your choices about receiving text messages, along with the date, time, page and IP address of that choice
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and our service providers automatically collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies and similar technologies for this, including Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used and Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam.
Information from our free tools. When you run the free local SEO audit, we load the public pages of the website you enter to check them. When you use the Google review link generator, the profile link you paste is processed in your browser to build your link and QR code.
How we use your information

- To schedule and confirm appointments and follow up on your request
- To send the newsletter or messages you have agreed to receive

Text messaging (SMS)
When you submit a form on the Site and check the consent box, D&J Contractor Marketing may call and send text messages to the phone number you provide. These include:
- Customer care messages: replies to your inquiry, appointment scheduling, confirmations and reminders, and updates about your account or project.
- Marketing messages: marketing tips, offers and news from D&J.
Calls and messages may be sent using automated technology, including AI. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not share, sell or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only exception is the messaging service providers that deliver our texts on our behalf, such as our SMS platform and wireless carriers, which use the information only to send our messages.
Automated systems and artificial intelligence (AI)
We use automated technology to respond quickly and keep in touch. This includes artificial intelligence (AI) agents, AI voice assistants, chatbots, automated dialing and texting systems, and email automation, operated by us or by service providers on our behalf. By submitting your information on the Site, you understand that:
- We may use the name, phone number, email address and other details you provide to contact you through these automated systems, including AI-generated or prerecorded voice calls, automated text messages and automated emails, where you have given any consent the law requires.

How we share information

- Business transfers, if D&J is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy
Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are never shared for marketing purposes under any of these categories.
Cookies and your choices
You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Some parts of the Site may not work properly without them. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, such as responding to you or serving you as a client, and as required for legal, tax and record-keeping purposes. We keep records of text message consent and opt-outs for as long as required to show compliance.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails or texts. Children
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
